With the law coming into effect on transparency, access to public information and good governance (Law 19/2013 of 9 December), municipalities have been improving what they communicate through their institutional websites.
The starting question of this research is whether all relevant municipal information, specifically what is related to the youth, is transmitted through the websites all in the same way. Therefore, the objective of the study is to analyze what is communicated on the municipal websites related to youth issues.
The websites of the 13 most populated areas in Extremadura are studied, to which a content analysis model is applied. Among the results obtained, it is worth noting that all the websites of the city councils deal with issues related to young people.
